<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the determination of the quantity of a contrast medium for an operator, and to reduce the susceptibility to errors in determining the quantity of the contrast medium. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for determining the quantity of a contrast medium in medical image forming includes an input unit 1, a memory unit 2, an output unit 5, and an interface 3 to an imaging device 6, and setting parameters of the imaging device 6 are referred or transmitted through the interface 3. A calculating unit 4 reads out the setting parameters required for the determination of the quantity of the contrast medium from the imaging device 6 or transmits the parameters to the imaging device 6 when the setting parameters are entered into the input unit 1 by the operator. The calculating unit 4 calculates the quantity of the contrast medium required for the parameter based on the parameters that are entered or referred and a calculation formula stored in the memory unit 2 and displays the quantity by the output unit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
