PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet-laid nonwoven fabric that has an excellent antibacterial or deodorant property, and to provide a textile product obtained by using the wet-laid nonwoven fabric.

SOLUTION: A wet-laid nonwoven fabric having an excellent antibacterial property or an excellent deodorizing property and a basis weight of 10 to 50 g/m2is obtained by applying an antibacterial agent or a deodorant onto a wet-laid nonwoven fabric comprising an ultrafine polyester fiber A that is composed of a polyester and has a single fiber diameter (D) of 500 to 1000 nm and a ratio (L/D) of a fiber length (L) nm to the single fiber diameter (D) nm in a range of 600 to 3000.
