OSCILLATOR AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An oscillator and an operating method thereof are provided to form an oscillating part and an output terminal by using a CMOS(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) manufacturing process since an oscillator including the oscillating part and the output terminal is integrated on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION: An oscillator(1A) comprises an oscillating part(10) and an output terminal(20a). The output terminal comprises a primary amplification part(21a), a bias circuit(22a), and a second amplification part(23a). The oscillator includes one or more magnetic layers which have variable magnetization directions according to at least one of applied currents, applied voltages, and applied magnetic fields. The oscillating part generates oscillation signals having predetermined frequencies. The output terminal is integrated on the same substrate as the oscillating part. The output terminal provides output signals by differentially amplifying the oscillation signals.
