<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop controlling device of which the fuel consumption is further improved by extending the time zone of the idling stop than ordinary, and the safety when a vehicle starts moving by the automatic initiation of an engine is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The idling stop controlling device automatically stops and starts the engine by connecting the engine to a transmission through a clutch. The starting requirements include necessary conditions such as that the clutch is in a cut state and the operating amount of a brake operating member is reduced or lost, and the device is provided with a means (S29) for generating and holding a specific braking force regardless of the operating amount of the brake operating member during the automatic stop, means (S21-S28) for determining whether or not the starting requirements are met during the automatic stop, a means (S30) for automatically starting the engine when the starting requirements are met, and means (S34, S36) for releasing the specific braking force when a specific holding time passes from when the operating amount of the brake operating member is reduced or lost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
