<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diameter measuring band dispensing work of binding and being surely wound around and fixed to a trunk by a simple operation when the measuring band is wound around and fixed to the trunk of a tree to be cut down. <P>SOLUTION: This diameter measuring band includes: a band-like strap 2 displaying, on one surface, numerical values 5b expressing the diameter of the trunk of a measuring object tree T at prescribed pitches; a head 10 integrated with the base end of the strap and having an insertion hole 11 in which the strap is inserted from the tip end; and a stopper 15 preventing reversion of the strap inserted from the insertion hole. The numerical values are so configured that, when the strap is wound around the outer periphery of the trunk and the tip end is inserted into the insertion hole and fastened up to the limit, the a numerical value corresponding to the end edge 10a of the head that is equivalent to an insertion-side opening 11b of the insertion hole indicates the diameter of the trunk of the tree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
