PURPOSE: An oil mist generator for enabling the low-pressure ejection of oil mist is provided to enable the efficient supply of oil mist even if the speed of air jet to the inside the generator is low. CONSTITUTION: An oil mist generator(100) for enabling the low-pressure ejection of oil mist comprises an oil tank(101), an oil mist discharge port(105), a pressure sensor(110), a solenoid valve(120), and an air supply line(150). Oil mist is generated by putting oil into the oil tank through an oil jetting nozzle(10) and smashing the oil. The oil mist discharge port supplies the oil mist to a machine tool. The pressure sensor senses the internal pressure of the oil mist generator. The solenoid valve is opened and closed depending on the signal from the pressure sensor. The air supply line supplies air to an oil jetting nozzle.
