<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive steering device by which at least a flip-up mechanism can easily be performed by the manual operation of a driver, and the flip-up mechanism can surely be returned to a tilt position before flip-up. <P>SOLUTION: The flip-up mechanism 3 includes: a movable bracket 30 which is relatively and movably supported to a fixed bracket 10; a flip-up operation lever 40 which is supported to the movable bracket and detachably arranged at a movable column member 20; a flip-up biasing means 50 which biases the movable column member to a flip-up position direction; and a locking means 60 which locks the movable column member at a tilt position when returning the movable column member to the tilt position while withstanding the biasing force of the flip-up biasing means. When the flip-up operation lever is locked to the movable column member, the flip-up operation lever and the movable column member integrally and relatively move to the fixed bracket, and when the flip-up operation lever is released from the movable column member, the movable column member relatively moves to the fixed bracket and the movable bracket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
