The clutch has a driven-side pulley (20) coupled with a fan wheel of a fan, and a belt (30) for coupling a drive-side pulley (10) and the driven-side pulley with each other. Length of the belt is measured such that the belt is strained in an engaged position of a switchable adjustment element (40) and stands in contact with the pulleys to that torque transmission occurs between the pulleys. The belt does not contact with the pulleys in a disengaged position of the adjustment element so that no torque transmission occurs between the two pulleys.
