The device has different fiber material templates (1,2) that are provided for different fiber materials (1a,2a). A drafting roller (3) is provided for distortion of the fiber material (1a). The fiber material (1a) detached from a clamping roller (4) arranged at downstream side of the drafting roller, is twisted with respect to a core yarn (6). The cover yarn (11) is formed by supplying the fiber material (2a) from a fiber material supply unit (9), for integrating with the core yarn.
