The method involves manufacturing a gear section (14) and a ball screw section (15). A gear rack (3) is aligned between both the manufacturing steps of the gear section and the ball screw section such that a predetermined distance (a) results between a define tooth (17) of the gear section and a defined peripheral position (18) of the ball screw section. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electromechanical steering.
