The nail has a nail head (11) and a nail shaft (12) provided in a cross-section of the nail, where the nail head is rectangular and pyramid frustum-shaped. The nail shaft is provided with a seal element (16) made from a deformable material, at outer surfaces in a transition region (14) of the nail head. The seal element is integrally formed at an outer surface (15) of the nail shaft. The nail head and/or the nail shaft is made of harder material. The seal element is arrow-shaped, and tapers forwardly to a nail tip (13) in an insertion direction of the nail.
