The compressor (1) has a compressor block (2), and an electric motor (3) comprising a stator (5) and a rotor (4) i.e. external rotor, and a bearing sleeve (17) for a shaft (9) arranged in a central opening. The sleeve is connected with the rotor in a torque proof manner. A roller is connected with an eccentric crankshaft journal (22) at an end that is turned toward the block. The block is axially supported at a support point (28) at the stator. The support point is axially arranged below a piston-cylinder-unit (25). The stator comprises a disk-shaped cover plate (12).
