PURPOSE: A passive pumping system using a gas generation reaction and a nuclear heat cooling system using the same are provided to improve a heat removal ability by spraying the constant flux of cooling water to the outside of a nuclear heat source for a long time and cooling the nuclear heat source. CONSTITUTION: A cooling water tank(1) stores cooling water(2). An upper tank(3) accepts a first reactant(4). A lower tank(5) accepts a second reactant(6). A connection pipe(9) connects an upper tank and a lower tank. A valve(9a) controls the communication of the lower tank and the upper tank. A pressure emission pipe(8) connects the lower tank and the cooling water tank.
