ANTIINFLAMMATORY COMPOSITION COMPRISING ENZYMATIC HYDROLYSATES OF MYTILUS CORUSCUS

PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory composition containing hydrolysate of Mytilus coruscus is provided to ensure excellent anti-inflammatory effect without toxicity and side effect. CONSTITUTION: An anti-inflammatory composition contains peptide isolated from Mytilus coruscus protein hydrolysate as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the hydrolysate comprises: a step of dissolving freeze-dried Mytilus coruscus in a buffer solution; a step of adding protease to the solution for hydrolysis; a step of heating the hydrolysate; and a step of filtering, concentrating and drying the hydrolysate. The buffer solution includes phosphate buffer or glycine-HCl buffer.
