The machine has tools held in a stand (4) that is mounted with working shafts (2,3). The coupling elements (13) of working shafts transfer the torque from a drive system (9) to the working shafts. The coupling stator (11) is equipped with coupling portions (5,6) carrying one coupling counterpart (12) and a port (15) for the drive system. One of the coupling portions is separately movable to one working shaft independently of other working shafts to couple or disengage the stand with respect to the drive system. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for longitudinal deformation of metal strip or output profile in profile or pipe; and (2) docking stand for roll forming machine.
