PURPOSE: A wall mounting type ultraviolet ray-light emitting diode sterilizing apparatus with an automatic sterilization intensity adjusting function and a method for controlling the same are provided to reduce the using amount of chlorine by using ultraviolet ray in addition to the chlorine. CONSTITUTION: A wall mounting type ultraviolet ray-light emitting diode sterilizing apparatus(100) includes a wall mounting type ultraviolet ray-light emitting diode sterilizing panel unit(110), a measuring data base unit(140), and a sterilization intensity evaluating and controlling unit(150). The wall mounting type ultraviolet ray-light emitting diode sterilizing panel unit emits light of sterilizing wavelengths. The measuring data base unit monitors sterilizing conditions and measures the amount and the quality of water. The sterilization intensity evaluating and controlling unit automatically controls the intensity of ultraviolet ray from the panel unit.
