PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light emitting device package are provided to prevent light created in a light emitting structure layer by forming a light transmitting layer having constant thickness on the light emitting structure layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure layer(135) which creates light is formed on a substrate(175). The light emitting structure layer comprises a first electrical conduction semiconductor layer(110), a second electrical conduction semiconductor layer(130), and an active layer(120). A passivation layer(180) is formed on a side of the light emitting structure layer. A junction layer(170), a reflecting layer(160), and an ohmic layer(150) are formed between the substrate and the light emitting structure layer. A current blocking layer(145) is formed between the ohmic layer and the second electrical conduction semiconductor layer. |
