BIDET WITH STERILIZATION FUNCTION AND CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A bidet with a sterilization function and a control method thereof are provided to remove bacteria from a cleaning nozzle and the inside a toilet bowl by selectively sterilizing the cleaning nozzle and the inside the toilet bowl. CONSTITUTION: A bidet with a sterilization function comprises a nozzle cleaning member(300), one or more toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles(400), a branch valve(200), and a control unit(500). The nozzle cleaning member is coupled to the end of a cleaning nozzle(60) and has one or more self-cleaning nozzles(330). The toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles are formed on the front of the nozzle cleaning member and sterilize the inner wall of a toilet bowl using sterilizing water. The branch valve is connected to the toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles and the cleaning nozzle. When a cleaning stop signal is inputted to the control unit, the control unit applies the signal to the branch valve and jets the sterilizing water to the self-cleaning nozzles or toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles.
