PURPOSE: Garnish mood lamp housing capable of preventing environmental contamination, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maximize cost down by successively and easily executing light leakage prevention coating and color coating in one vacuum evaporation chamber. CONSTITUTION: A lower layer film(30) which is formed by spraying primer paints by using a spray is UV-dried. Mood lamp housing(10) coated by the lower layer film is put in a vacuum chamber. A light leakage protecting coating layer(60) consisting of copper or copper compounds is vacuously evaporated on the lower layer film. A color coating layer(40) consisting of one among aluminum, chrome, and titanium is vacuously evaporated on the light leakage protecting coating layer. A clear coating layer(50) is formed on the color coating layer.
