PURPOSE: A parking controlling system for a vehicle is provided to accurately recognizing a parking space by setting the variation and outputting different sensing signals by the kind of a target material. CONSTITUTION: A parking controlling system for a vehicle includes a target sensing unit for recognizing a target, an area sensing unit for recognizing an area, and an electronic controller. The target sensing unit outputs sensing signals having different patterns by the kind of a target material. The area sensing unit outputs area sensing signals for setting a parking space of the vehicle. The electronic controller determines the kind of the target by comparing patterns of the sensing signal transferred from the target sensing unit with pre-saved patterns.
