A Glutathione reductase-PEG conjugate, in which PEG preferably has an average molecular weight ranging from 20,000 to 66,000 daltons, and the use of said conjugate as an anti-influenza medicament are described. Furthermore, the preferred formulae (formulae (I), II) and (III)) of the conjugate of the invention are illustrated.
