<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily calibrating an interleaved digitizer channel CH on the spot or at the factory without requiring a plurality of calibrated step generators. <P>SOLUTION: A bandwidth emphasizing BWE filter 20 for output of each CH path is calibrated so that frequency and phase characteristics are compensated. An input signal supplied to one preamplifier 12 of a CH is supplied to a digitizer 16 of the CH with a switch 14 set to an interleave mode to establish a reference digitizer CH path. The input signal is supplied to another digitizer of the CH to establish an interleave digitizer CH path. Outputs of corresponding BWE filters 20 for the reference digitizer CH path and interleaved digitizer CH path are subjected to FFT, a match filter for the interleaved digitizer path is found, and the output of the interleaved digitizer CH path is matched with an output of the reference digitizer CH path at all frequencies in terms of phase and magnitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
