Disclosed in the present invention are a method and an apparatus for measurement and processing an assisted Observed Time Difference Of Arrival (OTDOA) positioning, the method comprising: a Base Station (BS) receiving a message including OTDOA positioning auxiliary data; the BS configuring, according to the message, a measurement gap for OTDOA positioning for a terminal; and the BS implementing scheduling according to the configured location for the measurement gap. With the present invention, the BS is able to acquire more accurate information, and implements effective control over terminals, so that terminals are able to accomplish inter-frequency measurement for the assisted positioning without losing any data. |
