<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glossy ink jet recording paper which is excellent in ink jet recording aptitude such as recording density, has a glossy excellent appearance and scratch resistance not to be hurt during printer paper feeding, and is excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the glossy ink jet recording paper having at least one ink jet recording layer containing a pigment and an adhesive on a gas-permeable base material and a gloss developing layer containing colloidal particles on the ink jet recording layer, the gloss developing layer contains colloidal silica treated with a silane coupling agent containing an amino group or a quaternary ammonium group as the colloidal particles, an adhesive, and a water-dispersive release agent and is cast-finished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
