<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single chip type piezoelectric oscillator that has high frequency variable sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A quartz oscillator 20 includes: a quartz vibrating reed 10; an IC chip 50 as a semiconductor circuit element including an oscillation circuit for oscillating the quartz vibrating reed 10; a base substrate 2 disposed between the quartz vibrating reed 10 and the IC chip 50 and provided with a shielding pattern 5a on at least one principal surface; and a package 30 having a recess housing a laminate 1 in which the quartz vibrating reed 10 is laminated on the base substrate 2 and housing the IC chip 50, and provided with a grounding electrode 37 in the recess. In the quartz oscillator 20 having the laminate 1 and the IC chip sealed in the package 30, the shielding pattern 5a of the base substrate 2 is electrically connected to the grounding electrode 37 in the package 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
