<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the display direction of a display part by coincidence with a gravity direction on the basis of the detection output of an acceleration sensor even when the display part and the sensor are arranged in different housings and the housings are openably connected. <P>SOLUTION: A display part 14 is arranged in an upper housing 10. A triaxial acceleration sensor 31 for detecting gravity acceleration is arranged in a lower housing 11. The upper housing 10 and the lower housing 11 are turnably connected by a biaxial hinge part 12, and a biaxial rotation angle sensor 32 detects the rotation angle of the biaxial hinge part 12. The detection output of the triaxial acceleration sensor 31 is inverted in accordance with the detection output of the rotation angle by the biaxial rotation angle sensor 32.
