<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which is controlled to prevent a failure in a production process or a sticking process to a liquid crystal cell while having a high optical compensation function. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing plate has a sandwiched structure of a polarizer with two polarizing plate protective films T1 and T2, wherein films T1 and T2 are cellulose ester films. The films T1 and T2 have a specified relation, and when T1 is subjected to an environmental change from 85°C and 20% RH to 95% RH, the minimum dimensional change rate X by humidity in a film plane satisfies 10≤X≤130 ppm/%RH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
