<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which can exert moisture control of fuel cells properly and also can configure a system easily. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes an oxidant cooler 32 of evaporation cooling type using a water permeable membrane, which is located upstream of a membrane humidifier 33 and downstream of an air pump 31 on an oxidant passage. A condensate discharged from the cathode of a fuel cell 10 is accumulated in a water accumulation part formed within a diluter 35 and sent under pressure to a water storage part 32a of the oxidant cooler 32 via a flow tube c1. A condensate passing down the inside of a hollow fiber membrane provided in the oxidant cooler 32 evaporates due to heat of dry air passing down the outside of the hollow fiber membrane, so that the temperature of the dry air decreases. As the temperature of cathode off-gas discharged from the fuel cell 10 decreases, so the amount of condensate in the membrane humidifier 33 increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
