摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of measurement facilities to be equipped on a circuit field and a magnetic sensor to be attached to a vehicle and to reduce vehicle driver's input operation required for measuring lap time. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle lap time measurement apparatus includes: a vehicle position acquisition part 22 for acquiring position information expressing a current position of a vehicle; a signal input part 21 for inputting a goal arrival signal expressing arrival of the vehicle at a goal point in a circuit course; a goal line calculation part 25 for detecting a moving direction of the vehicle based on a fine change in the vehicle position information and calculating a linear equation for specifying a straight goal line including the goal point based on the input timing of the goal arrival signal, the vehicle position information acquired by the vehicle position acquisition part and the detected vehicle moving direction; and a lap time measurement part 26 for measuring time based on the linear equation and the vehicle position information.
