The present invention is applicable to the field of computer and provides a fault-tolerant method for online game interaction logic and a fault-tolerant system for online games. The method comprises the following steps: The client determine whether the game data is in error; a game data synchronization request is sent to a game server when the client determines the game is in error; and the game server returns to the client a game data synchronization response. The game data synchronization response comprises the correct game data corresponding to the erroneous game data; the client updates a player's game data according to the game data synchronization response. In an embodiment of the present invention, when the client has determined that there is an error in the game data, a game data synchronization request is sent to the game server; the game server returns a game data synchronization response to the client, and the client updates the player's game data based on the game data synchronization response returned by the game server, thus allowing the client to continue the game through synchronizing game data with the game server while the game data is in error. |
