<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic shaft mechanism of a steering device, in which play between an inner shaft and an outer shaft is surely suppressed without requiring especially highly accurate working accuracy of a spline part between both shafts. <P>SOLUTION: The inner shaft 1 has a first spline part 10 and a second spline part 20 on a body part 1b side which are formed by dividing the spline part into two parts by an inclined surface 1d inclined to a center axis of the inner shaft. The first spline part 10 and the second spline part 20 are supported by a supporting mechanism 30 in such a way that one of the spline parts is movable relative to the other in a direction orthogonal to the center axis of the inner shaft and are energized in the axis direction by an energizing means 40, the first and second spline parts are relatively moved along the inclined surface by the energizing force and come in press contact with an outer shaft 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
