<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine which can perform laser beam machining for a plate-like workpiece and a long pipe material, and further, can suppress scattering of dust produced upon laser beam machining to the circumference. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machine includes a laser oscillator 7 arbitrarily on one side in the X-axis direction of a laser beam machining region 9 where a laser beam machining head 17 is freely movable in the X-axis direction and Y-axis direction, includes one pallet for machining of a pallet 23 for flat plate machining or a pallet 27 for long material machining provided to one side in the X-axis direction of the laser beam machining region 19, wherein the one pallet for machining is provided so that it can be moved and positioned to the laser beam machining region 19, includes the other pallet for machining of the pallet 27 for long material machining or the pallet 23 for flat plate machining provided to the other side in the X-axis direction of the laser beam machining region 19, includes the other pallet for machining so that it can be moved and positioned to the laser beam machining region 19, and further includes a main chuck 33 clamping the long material and freely rotatable on the pallet 27 for long material machining so as to be connectable to a dust collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
