<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a side ditch with excellent water cut-off performance. <P>SOLUTION: A side ditch block 10(10a) includes: a pair of left and right side walls 11(12); a bottom wall 13; an upper wall 14; a pair of left and right vertical grooves 31a(31b) formed so as to vertically extend along end faces 11a(12a) of the side walls 11(12); and a horizontal groove 32 formed so as to horizontally extend along an end face 13a of the bottom wall 13 and to be communicated with the vertical grooves 31a(31b). A method of constructing a side ditch 1 includes forming a pair of left and right openings 51 on upper surfaces 41 of the side walls 11(12) by performing positioning so that an end face 21 of the side ditch block 10 and the end face 21 of the adjacent side ditch block 10a are in contact, forming a communication hole 50 for communicating one opening 51a and the other opening 51b by the vertical grooves 31a(31b) and the horizontal groove 32, injecting mortar 60 from one opening 51a, and confirming the arrival of the mortar 60 at the other opening 51b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
