摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method of controlling plate thickness in a reversing rolling mill, which is capable of considerably reducing plate thickness deviation due to deformation resistance unevenness in the case of rolling a plate material using a reversing rolling mill. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of controlling plate thickness of feedforward AGC (automatic gain control ), a rolling material extracted from a coil is subjected to reverse rolling with not lower than 2 passes in cold rolling while taking account of deformation resistance unevenness of the rolling material. The deformation resistance unevenness is calculated as deformation resistance deviation from measured values and actual rolling results of the plate thickness deviation at exit side in a rolling at one previous rolling pass, and a control gain of feedforward AGC in this rolling is derived based on approximation degree of the measured values of the exit side plate thickness deviation and the deformation resistance deviation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
