THRUST SLIDE BEARING ASSEMBLY

A thrust slide bearing assembly is intended for shafts or rotary axles of machines and equipment and can be used in particular in constructions of axial supports of pumps, motors and in hydro-protection of motors of well immersible centrifugal electric driven pumps for extraction of oil from deep oil wells with small diameters. It includes a thrust washer that is installed without possibility of motion in the body, and self-installing thrust segments. The thrust segments are installed with possibility of motion on a support washer between its cylindrical central lug and circular edge with gaps one with respect to another and with respect to the circular edge and cylindrical central lug of the thrust washer in such a way that those rest with facets arranged at two opposite in circular direction sides on balls. The balls are installed in free way in a closed circular groove of a thrust washer in gaps between the thrust segments. On the outer side surface of the cylindrical central lug of the thrust washer a closed circular cross slot is arranged. Each of the thrust elements is brought into coincidence with the end cross slot of the cylindrical central lug of the thrust washer and in those slots an elastic ring is placed. The increase of reliability, service life and carrying capacity are provided at high manufacturability of the construction.
