The objective of the present invention is to provide a terminal-attached wire that has excellent waterproofness (water-stopping capability), and a method of manufacturing the terminal-attached wire. The terminal-attached wire (1) of the present invention is provided with a wire (2), a terminal (3), a water-stopping wall (4), and a water-stopping cover (5). A linking section (36) is provided at the front tip of a core wire (21), and the water-stopping wall (4) is formed on that section. The water-stopping wall (4) comprises a resin workpiece (41) the surface of which has adhesiveness to metals, and which is processed to be a prescribed shape. The resin workpiece (41) is formed by being fitted inside the linking section (36). The water-stopping cover (5) is cylindrical, and an opening end section (51) at the front side thereof adheres tightly to the water-stopping wall (4) and a bottom plate (31) of a portion that receives and supports the water-stopping wall (4), so as to enclose them, and an opening end section (52) at the rear side thereof adheres tightly to an insulation layer (22) of the wire (2) so as to enclose the insulation layer (22). Since, in such a way, a liquid intruding-object comprising water or the like is shut off by the water-stopping wall (4) even when moving along from a front-end section (33) side of the terminal (3) towards the bottom plate (31) side, corrosion of the wire (21) due to coming in contact with the intruding object is inhibited.
