<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing assisting device which is simply constituted, and which enables a vehicle door to be held in an arbitrary opening/closing position and operated for opening/closing by a relatively weak force. <P>SOLUTION: A door opening/closing assisting device includes: a cylinder 11 which is rotatably coupled to a vehicle body; a sliding member 12 which is rotatably coupled to a back door and which slides a cylinder 11 along with a back door opening/closing operation; a coiled spring 13 that is housed in the cylinder 11; and a piezoelectric body 14 which is housed in the cylinder 11, which is urged by the coiled spring 13 to abut on the sliding member 12, and which reduces a frictional force between the cylinder 11 and the sliding member 12 along with vibrations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
