A conveyor roll structure having a novel coupling between a drive shaft and an end of a cylindrically shaped, elongated conveyor roll that transmits a rotating torque from the drive shaft to the roll while permitting the roll to rotate about a given axis with minimum deviation from said axis even when the drive shaft wobbles. Also, a conveyor roll system comprising a plurality of conveyor roll structures having said novel coupling.
