<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of welding wire shavings due to rubbing between straightening rollers and the welding wire. <P>SOLUTION: A straightening mechanism 4 for a welding wire is composed as follows: two small-diameter rollers 3a, 3b, which are made of resin materials and have V-shaped grooves 15 formed on their outer peripheries, and a large-diameter roller 2, which is made of a resin material, has an outer diameter larger than those of the two small-diameter rollers 3a, 3b, and has a V-shaped groove 12 formed on its outer periphery, are arranged in such a manner that a welding wire feeding path is sandwiched therebetween. Guide rollers 5, 6, which are made of resin materials and have V-shaped grooves 27 formed on their outer peripheries, are arranged upstream and downstream of the straightening mechanism 4 for a welding wire respectively. Wear of a welding wire 1, which is caused by rubbing in straightening the wire, is principally eliminated completely by passing the welding wire 1 through the straightening mechanism 4 for a welding wire. Further, the welding wire 1 is fed stably with the guide rollers 5, 6 in the inlet side and the outlet side of the straightening mechanism 4 for a welding wire, so that rubbing of the welding wire 1 against a feeding hose is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
