<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encapsulation layer that protects an active element from another element and increases the optical output of a LED small cube whose optical quality does not decrease even with use of high-flux LED groups having comparatively short wave length (for example, 525 nm). <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 10 includes an active region 13 that is configured to emit light responsive to a voltage applied thereto.
