<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coin receiving and paying device capable of specifying the denominations of coins when a jam occurs and grasping the number of staying coins in each different denomination. <P>SOLUTION: The coin receiving and paying device includes: a first detecting part for specifying the denominations of coins; means for adding coins whose denominations are specified by the first detecting part in each different denomination; a coin selecting part 11 provided downstream in a coin conveyance direction of the first detecting part to select coins in accordance with denominations; a second detecting part 12 for detecting coins to be stored in a coin storing part 14 in each different denomination; means for adding coins in each different denomination on the basis of a detection result by the second detecting part 12; means for calculating a difference in the number of coins in each different denomination between the number of coins in each different denomination added by the means for adding coins whose denominations are specified by the first detecting part in each different denomination, and the number of coins in each different denomination added by means for adding coins in each different denomination on the basis of the detection result of the second detecting part 12; and means for displaying the difference in the number of coins in each different denomination calculated by calculating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
