<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera enabling setting of conditions on a finder screen by operating a touch panel while looking into a finder. <P>SOLUTION: The camera is provided with: a back display part 29 disposed on the back face of a camera body; a touch panel part 14 provided so as to be superimposed on the back display part 29 and detecting an inputted operation instruction; a look-in type EVF 30 disposed on the top of the camera body; a display switch part 11a which switches the display destination of an image to the back display part 29 or the EVF 30; and a touch panel control part 11d which detects operation onto the touch panel part 14 and controls input of an operation instruction onto the screen of the back display part 29 or the EVF 30.
