<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle that displays necessary and sufficient information in an easily viewable manner in response to the traveling state of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The display device for a vehicle includes: a control circuit unit 4 for generating drawing control information of a display image in a display unit 7 displaying information on the host vehicle based on the information on the host vehicle (for instance, vehicle speed, shift lever position) that is acquired by an information acquiring unit 1, and also when changing the display image, generating drawing control information that gradually changes a predetermined range of the display image while making the display image correspond to the information on the host vehicle; a graphics drawing unit 6 for drawing a vector graphics based on the drawing control information generated by the control circuit unit 4; and a drawing data memory unit 5 for storing vector data constituting the vector graphics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
