<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool enabling an operator to easily achieve the rotation speed fluctuation effective in suppressing chatter vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A settable parameter range by a fluctuation value setting section 10 can be clearly indicated to the operator, because amplitude of rotation speed and main shaft torque are chosen as parameters and a rotation speed of the main shaft 1 is fluctuated, differently from conventional case where amplitude and cycle are chosen as parameters.
