<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uncomfortable feeling when a vehicle is returned to cruise traveling once again after the vehicle is temporarily accelerated during the cruise traveling. <P>SOLUTION: When acceleration request torque Ta becomes larger than cruise request torque Tc from a state that, ("No" in the determination of S14), the cruise request torque Tc is larger than the acceleration request torque Ta, and when the vehicle is temporarily accelerated ("Yes" in the determination of S14), a prohibition flag is set to F<SB POS="POST">NG</SB>=1 (S25), and a permission flag is reset to F<SB POS="POST">OK</SB>=0 (S26).
