<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device that can appropriately detect a load by a person who takes the seat through a seating sensor laid on a seat pan. <P>SOLUTION: The seat device 9 includes a seat pan 92, a cushion pad 93 laid on the seat pan 92, and a seating sensor 1 having at least one pressure-sensitive switch 40A to 40F and laid between the seat pan 92 and the cushion pad 93.
