LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING A TOUCH SCREEN PANEL

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device with a touch screen panel is provided to use common electrode patterns and black matrix patterns as electrodes of the touch screen panel. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of common electrode patterns(70a) are separated in a first direction. A plurality of black matrix patterns(63a) are formed between color filter patterns. The black matrix patterns are separated in a second direction which crosses the first direction. The common electrode patterns and at least one black matrix pattern are used as driving electrodes or sensing electrodes of a capacitive touch screen panel.
