摘要 The embodiments of the present invention disclose a GTECL, comprising at least one optical component constituted by a gain medium and a collimating lens, a tuning apparatus and at least one diffraction grating; wherein the gain medium is adapted to output a coherent light beam; the coherent light beam becomes parallel light after passing through the collimating lens; after the parallel light is diffracted by the diffraction grating, one part of diffraction light is directly taken as first output laser light, and the other part of diffraction light is returned to the gain medium along with an original incident light path, and is taken as second output laser light when exceeding an oscillation threshold of the laser through being oscillated and amplified in the gain medium; the diffraction grating is configured on the tuning apparatus; the tuning apparatus is adapted to drive the diffraction grating to rotate on a rotation axis located on a back surface of the diffraction grating; and the rotation axis is parallel with a diffraction surface of the diffraction grating and is vertical to an optical axis of the laser. By using the laser, the continuous mod-hop-free tuning of laser frequency can be implemented, and the manufacturing costs of the laser can be decreased.
