PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus and control method of an electronic apparatus are provided to display a map image including the current location of an electronic apparatus on a part of a screen by selecting an item corresponding to a navigation application. CONSTITUTION: A location information module(115) acquires the current location of an electronic apparatus(100). A control unit(180) displays a map image on a touch screen for a fixed area including the current location. The control unit rotates the map image based on the determined rotation direction. A rotation direction is determined according to a drag input signal for the map image display area.
