The electric drive comprises a gear box per power unit comprising a partial gear box which is coupled over an appropriate input channel and with the appropriate power unit. The partial gear boxes are interacted among themselves and with the common output shaft (AW) such that the interruptions of torque output of the output shaft (A1-3) in the partial gear box are obviated with the shift operations. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) vehicle; and (2) operating method of electric drive.
